Heretic Soul/The Nihilistic Attitude/PRC Music/2013 CD Review

 Heretic  Soul  are  a  band  from  Turkey  that has  been  featured  before  in  this  zine with  a  musical  style  I  would  describe  as  being  a  heavy,  brutal  and  old  school  form  of  death  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their 2013  album  "The  Nihilistic  Attitude"  which  was  released  by  PRC  Music.

  "Nihilistic  Attitude"  begins  with  some  heavy  and  dark  guitar  riffs  along  with  some  drums  and  then the  song  goes  into  a  more  heavy  and  brutal  direction  as w ell  as  mixing  in some  blast  beats,  death  metal  growls  and  high  pitched  screams  and  after  a  couple  of  minutes  melodic  guitar  riffing  is  added  into  the  song  as  well  as  some  guitar  solos  and  leads  towards  the  end.

  "Cancer  Of  Society"  begins  with  some  heavy  death  metal  guitar  riffs  and  drums as  well  as  a  small  amount  of  blast  beats  before  the  music  slows  down  and  adds  in some  growls,  screams  and melodic  riffing  while  also  remaining  heavy  at  the  same time.

  "Release  Your  Ego'  begins  with  some  guitar  and  bass  riffs  as  well  as  some  drums  and  then  the  song  starts getting  heavier  and  adding  in  some  growls  and  growls  which  are  also  mixed  in  with  small  amounts  of  fast  riffing  before  slowing  down  for  a  second  and  adding  in  a  spoken  word  part  and  as  the  song  moves  on  it  also  starts  mixing  in  a  variety  of  many  different  riffs  and  towards  the  end  there  is  a  brief  use  of  guitar  solos  and  leads.

  "Corrupted  Human  Race"  begins  with  some  guitar  riffs  that  start  getting  heavy  after  a  few  seconds  along  with  some  drums  and  then  the  song  goes  into  a  faster  direction  and  adds  in  some  blast  beats  and  growls  before  heading  into  a  mid  paced  direction  and  also  mixing  in  some  screams  and  a  few  minutes  later  there  is  a  brief  use  of  spoken  parts  before  the  music  adds  in some melodic  riffing.

  "Life  Is  Torture"  begins  with  some  guitar  riffs  and  drums  which  then  lead  to  some  growls  and  screams  and  then  the  song  gets  fast  in some  sections  while  also adding  in  a  small  amount  of blast  beats  and  in  some  parts  there  are  some  melodic  riffs  being  utilized  as  well as  a  brief  use  of  clean  parts  towards  the end.

  "Liars  Not  Allowed''  begins  with  some  melodic  guitar  leads  before  blast  beats,  heavy  guitar  riff,  growls  and  screams  start  kicking  in  and  the  song  sticks  mostly  to a  mid  paced  direction  and  you  can  hear  the  bass  guitars  in  certain sections  and  then  the  song  starts  switching  back  and  forth  between  mid  paced  and  fast  and  towards  the  end  the  guitar  leads  make  a  return.

  "Stereotype"  begins  with  a  high  pitched  scream  before  adding  in  some  blast  beats  and  growls  as  well  as  speeding  up  in  certain  sections  of   the   song  and  towards  the  end  there  is  a  brief  use  of  guitar  solos  and  leads  being  utilized.

  "Sarcastic  Smile"  begins  with  some  heavy  guitar  riffs  and  drums  along  with  some  melody  being utilized  and  then  the  song  speeds  up  adds  in some  powerful bass  guitars,  blast  beats,  deep  growls  and  high  pitched  screams  and  then  the  song  starts switching  back  and  forth  between  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  and  after  awhile  the  guitar  riffing  starts  utilizing  some  melody.

  "Suicidal  State  of  Mind"  begins  with  some  clean  guitars  and  a  minute  later  heavy  guitar  riffs  and  drums  start  kicking  in  which  then  leads  to  some  melodic  riffing  and  high  pitched  screams  and  towards  the  end  there  are  some  clean  sections  being  brought  into the  song.

  Song  lyrics  cover  nihilism,  while  the  production  has  a  very  strong,  powerful,  heavy  and professional  sound  to  it.

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding album from  Heretic  Soul  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of Polish  style  death  metal,  you  should  check  out  this  recording.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Nihilistic  Attitude"  "Corrupted  Human  Race"  "Liars  Not  Allowed"  and  "Suicidal  State  of  Mind".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.        

Polluted Inheritance/Betrayed/Vic Records 2013 CD Re_issue Review

  Polluted  Inheritance  where  a  band  from  the  Netherlands  that  played  a  very early  form of  technical death  metal and  this  is  a  review  of  their  1996  album  "Betrayed"  which  was  re-issued  in 2013  by Vic  Records.

  "Intro"  begins with  16  seconds  of  sound  effects.

  "Forgotten Cause" begins with  some heavy  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along  with  some  drums  and  then  the  riffing  starts  adding in some  melody  while  also  bringing  in  the  deep  death  metal growls  and  a  minute  later  guitar  solos and  leads  start  coming  in  and  out  of  the  song.

  "Mental  Connection"  begins  with  some  technical  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along  with  some  drums  before  going  into a  heavier  direction and  also  adding  in  some  growls  and  after  awhile  the music  starts  speeding  up  a  bit  while  also  bringing  in  a  small  amount  of  guitar  leads.

  "Elimination"  begins with  some  sound  effects  before  adding  in  some  heavy  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along with  some  drums  which  lead  to  the  growls  kicking  in  a  few  seconds  later  and  as  the  song  moves  on the  drumming  starts  getting  alot  more  powerful  which  leads  to  some  guitar  leads  kicking  in  and  out.

  "Betrayed"  begins  with  some  technical  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along  with  some  drums  before  speeding  up  a  bit  and  adding  in  some  growls  but  for  the  most  part  staying in  a  mid  paced  direction  and  towards  the  end  there  is  a  brief  use  of  guitar  solos  and  leads.

  "Emptiness"  begins  with  some  technical  guitar  leads,  bass  guitars  and  drums  and  a  few  seconds  leader  the  music  goes  into  a  heavier  direction  with  the  guitar  riffs  and  growls  and  after  awhile  there  the  lead  guitars  and  solos  make  a  return  for  a  few  seconds  and  towards  the  end  the  guitar  riffing  starts a dding  melody  in  certain  sections.

  "Drowning  (In  Faith)"  begins  with  some  heavy  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along  with  some  drums  which  lead  to  the  growls  making  their  presence  known   and  a  minute  later  there  is  a  brief  use  of  guitar  solos  and  leads  being utilized  and  towards  the  end  the  music  starts  speeding  up  for  a  few  seconds.

  "Indulge"  begins  with  some  heavy  guitar  riffs,  drums  and  growls  before  adding  in  some  melody  and  powerful  bass  playing  while  also  remaining  heavy  all  at  the same  time  and  a  couple  of  minutes  later  there  is  a  brief  use  of  clean  guitars  being  utilized  and  then  the  music  speeds  up  and  adds  in  some  blast  beats  but  focusing  more  on  the  mid  paced elements  as  well  as  bringing  in  some  guitar  leads  and  solos  to  the  mix  which  then  leads  to  the  music  going  into  a  more  technical  direction  as  well  as  bringing  in  more  fast  parts.

  "Never  To  Be  Free"  begins  with  some  heavy  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along  with  some  drums  before  going  into  a  faster  direction  and  adding  in  some  blast  beats  and  then  switching  back  and  forth  between  mid  paced  and  fast  parts.

  "Need  Me"  begins  with  some  technical  guitar  leads,  bass  guitars  and  drums  and  a  few  seconds  later  the  growls  start  kicking  in  as  well  as  some  heavy  rhythm  guitar  riffs  and  a  few  minutes  later  the  leads  make  a  return  to  the  music  and  also  add  in  some  melodic  elements.

  "My  Voice"  begins  with  some  heavy  and  technical  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along  with  some  drums  and  a  few  seconds  later  growls  start  making  their  presence  known  and  as  time  goes  by  the  music  gets  alot  heavier  along  with  a  brief  use  of  faster  riffing  and  blast  beats  which  also  leads  to  some  guitar  solos  and  leads.

  "Outro"  begins  with  some  synths  and  acoustic  guitars  which  utilize  some  finger  picking  and  full  chords.

  Song  lyrics  cover  philosophical  and  emotional  themes,  while  the  production  has  a  very  strong,  powerful  and  heavy  sound  for  the  decade  it  was  recorded  and  you  can  hear  all  of  the  musical;  instruments  that  are  present  on  this  album.

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Polluted  Inheritance  and  if  you  are  a  very  of  early  technical  death  metal,  you  should  check  out  this  album.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Forgotten Cause"  "Betrayed"  "Drowning  (In  Faith)"  and  "My  Voice".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.

  Eternal  Solstice  are  a  band  from the  Netherlands  that  has been featured before  in  this  zine  with a  musical style  I   would  describe  as  being  old  school death  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their 1994  album  "The  Wish  Is  Father To  To  The  Thought"  which  was  released  by  Vic  Records.

  "God  In  The  Flesh"  begins  with  heavy  guitar  and  bass riffs  and  drums  which  leads  to some  death  metal  growls  and  after  awhile  the  music  speeds  up  and  starts  adding  in  some  blast  beats  briefly  which  then  leads  to  some  guitar  leads  and  solos  coming  in  and  out  as  well  as  some  slower  riffing.

  "Blasphemous  Sermons"  begins  with  some  heavy  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along  with  some drums  which  leads  to  some  growls  and  after  awhile  the  music  starts  getting  more  fast  and  brutal  along  with  some  blast  beats  and  then  the  song  starts  switching  back and forth  between  slow  and  fast  parts.

  "Chambers  Of  Morpheus"  begins  with  some  slow  and  heavy  guitar riffs  and drums  along  with  some  melodic riffing  being  utilized  and  then  the  deep  growls  start  kicking  in  along  with  some powerful  bass  guitars  and  some  high  pitched screams  which  leads  to  the  music  going  into  a  more  mid  paced  direction.

  "Act  Of Settlement"  begins  with  heavy  guitar riffs,  drums and  growls  along  with some  bass  guitars  and  then  the  music  speeds  up  and  starts  adding  in some  blast beats  which  then  leads  to  the  music  switching  back and  forth  between  slow  and  fast  parts.

    "Dragged  Down  To  Rot"  begins  with  some  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along  with  some  drums  and  a  minute  later t he  death  metal  growls  and screams  make  their  way  into the  song  and  then  the  music  speeds  up  and  starts  adding  in some  blast  beats  while  sticking mostly  to  mid  paced  parts.

  "Sleep  Of  Death"  begins  with  some  heavy  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along  with  some  drums  and  growls  and  a  minute  later  the  music  goes into  a  faster  direction  for  a  few  seconds  and  starts  adding in blast  beats  and  then  going  back  to  a  more  slow  and  heavy  direction  but  it  does  start  getting  fast  again towards  the  end.

 "Demonic  Fertilizer"  begins with  some  heavy  guitar  riffs  and  drums  and  then  starts  adding  in some  faster  riffing in certain sections  along  with  some guitar  solos  and  leads  which  also  lead  to  the  bass  guitars  getting alot  more  powerful  and  there  are  no  vocals  present  on  the  song  with  the  music  being  all  instrumental.
 
  "Wrapped  In Darkness"  begins  with  some  heavy  guitar  riffs  and  drums  which  lead  to  some  bass  guitars  and  growls  kicking  in  and  after  awhile  the  music  starts  speeding  up  for  awhile  along  with  some  blast  beats  being  utilized.

  Song  lyrics  cover  darkness  and  blasphemous  themes,  while  the  production   has  a  very  strong,  powerful, and  heavy  sound for  the  time  it  was  recorded  and  you  can  hear  all  of  the  musical  instruments  that  are  present  on  this  recording.

  In  my  opinion this  was  another  great  sounding  album  from  Eternal  Solstice  and  if  you  are  a  fan of  old  school  death  metal, you  should  check  out  this  re-issue.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "God  In The  Flesh"  "Act  Of  Settlement"  and  "Demonic  Fertilizer".   Disfigured  Dead  are  a  band  from  New  York  that  plays  a  very  heavy  and  brutal  form  of  death  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2013  album  "Relentless"  which  was  released  as  a  joint  effort  between  Butchered  and  Severed  Records.

  "Punishing  Atonement"  begins  with  deep  death  metal  growls,  brutal  guitar  riffs  and  heavy  drums  which  take  the  song  into  a  softer  direction  and  also  mixes  in  some  high  pitched  screams  before  going  for  a  more  heavy  and  mid  paced  sound  along  with  some  melody  in  certain  sections  of  the  song  before  returning  to  a  more  fast  direction  and  then  the  song  starts  switching  back  and  forth  from  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  and  towards  the  end  you  can  actually  hear  the  bass  guitars.

  "Cauterized"  begins  with  some  fast  and  heavy  guitar  riffs  and  drums  along  with  some  deep  growls  and  high  pitched  screams  which  lead  to  the  song  bringing  in  faster  parts  in  certain  sections  as  well  as  adding  ins  some  blast  beats  and  then  the  song  starts  switching  back  and  forth  between  slow  and  mid  paced  parts  and  after  awhile  there  is  a  brief  use  of  guitar  leads  being  utilized.  

  "God  Forgives,  I  Dont"  begins  with  some  heavy  and  melodic  guitar  riffs  along  with  some  drums  which  then  lead  to  some  deep  growls  and  then   the music  goes  into  a  more  mid  paced  direction  before  getting  fast  and  adding  in  some  blast  beats  and  high  pitched  screams  and  then  the  music  starts  switching  back  and  forth  between  slow  and  fast  parts.

"Reliquary  Bone  Enshrinement"  begins  with  some  heavy,  brutal  guitar  riffs  and  drums  which  lead  to  some  death  growls  and  high  pitched  screams  before  going  into  a  faster  direction  and  adding  in  some  blast  beats  and  then  switching  back  and  forth  between  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  along  with  some  of  the  riffing  adding  in  melodic  parts.

  'Deranged  Consecration"  begins  with  some  heavy  guitar  riffs  and  drums  which  utilize  blast  beats  at  times  and  then  going  into  a  faster  direction  and  adding  some  growls  and  screams  to  the  song  along  with  some  guitar  solos  and  leads  and  after  a  couple  of  minutes  it  goes  into  a  slower  direction  and  then  switching  back  and  forth  between  fast  and  slow  parts.

  "Summoning  Execution"  begins  with  some  heavy  and  melodic  guitar  riffs  and  drums  which  then  lead  to  some  deep  growls  making  their  presence  known  in   the  song  and  a  minute  later  high  pitched  screams  are  added  as  well  as  the  song  getting  alot  heavier  and  starts  getting  alot  faster  in  certain  sections  of  the  song  and  it  closes  with  some  spoken  word  parts.

  "Death  Disguised,  Dream  Demise"  begins  with  heavy  guitar  riffs  and  brutal  blast  beats  and  then  the  growls  and  scream  start  kicking  in  and  the  song  also  mixes  in  some  mid  paced  sections  at  times  and  towards  the  end  there  is  a  brief  use  of  guitar  solos  and  leads  being  utilized.

  "Baneful  Barbarity"  begins  with  some  heavy  guitar  riffs  and  drums  before  going  into  a  faster  direction  and  adding  blast  beats  in  certain  parts  along  with  some  technical  riffing  and  then  the  deep  growls  become  a  part  of  the  song  which  leads  to  the  music  switching  back  and  forth  between  slow  and  fast  parts  as  well  as b ringing  in  some  high  pitched  screams  and  towards  the  end  there  are  some  short  guitar  solos  and  leads  being  utilized.

  "Self  Dissection"  begins  with  some  heavy  guitar  riffs,  blast  beats  and  high  screams  which  then  lead  to  some  deep  growls  and  melodic  guitar  riffing  and  a  minute  later  the  song  goes  into  a  slower  yet  heavy  direction.  while  also  reverting  back  to  a  heavier  direction  at  times.

  "The  Process  of  Decay"   begins  with  some  heavy  guitar  riffs  and  drums  which  also  utilize  some  blast  beats  in  certain  sections  of  the  song  and  after  awhile  the  growls  and  screams  make  their  presence  known  and  take  the  music  into  a  faster  direction  but  then  returning  to  more  of  a  mid  paced  sound  and  adding  in  some  powerful  bass  guitars  and  then  the  song  starts  switching  back  and  forth  between  fast  and  mid  paced  parts  and  after  awhile  the  music  stops  and  goes  more  into  sound  effects

  Song  lyrics  cover  violent,  hateful  and  gore  themes,  while  the  production  has  a  very  strong,  powerful,  heavy  and  brutal  sound  to  it.

  In  my  opinion  Disfigured  Dead  are  a  very  great  sounding  heavy  and  brutal  death  metal  band  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  album.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Punishing  Atonement"  "God  Forgives,  I  Dont"  "Baneful  Barbarity"  and  "The  Process  of  Decay".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.

  Navalm  are  a  band  from  Ukraine  that  plays  a  very  brutal  form  of  death  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2013  album  "Recovery  Of  Sync"  which  was  released  by  Metal  Scrap  Records.

  "Let  Others  Pray"  begins  with  nature  sounds  before  going  into  brutal  death  metal  guitar  riffs,  drums  and  growls  and  after  awhile  powerful  bass  guitars  and  high  pitched  screams  become  a  part  of  the  song  and  this  song  is  an  intro  for  the  album  and  towards  the  end  of  the  song  there  is  a  brief  use  of  guitar  solos  and  leads.

  "Sign"  begins  with  some  heavy  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along  with  some  drums  which  lead  to  the  deep  death  metal  growls   and  after  awhile  the  music  speeds  up  in  some  parts  and  brings  in  some  high  pitched  screams  as  well  as  a  brief  use  of  guitar  solos  and  leads.

 "Cemetery  Administration"  begins  with  some  nature  and  animal  sounds  along  with  some  bells  and  a  few  seconds later  drums,  guitars  and  growls  start  making  their  presence  known  along  with  some  bass  guitars  shortly  after  that  before  mixing  ins  some  mid  paced  sections  and  high  pitched  screams  before  getting  fast  with  some  blast  beats  and  towards  the  end  there  is  a  brief  use  of  guitar  leads  and  solos.

  "Unnecessary"  begins  with  heavy  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along  with  some  drums  before  they  get  faster  add  in  blast  beats,  thrash  influences  and  high  pitched  screams  along  with  some  guitar  solos  and  leads  before  slowing  down  adding  in  death  metal  growls.

  "An  Evil  Time"  begins  with  some  heavy  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along  with  some  drums  and  high  pitched  screams  and  after  awhile  the  music  slows  down  adds  in  some  deep  growls  before  switching  back  and  forth  between  slow  and  fast  parts  and  after  awhile  there  is  a  brief  use  of  blast  beats  and  guitar  leads  along  with  some  melodic  guitar  riffing.

  "Steps  In  The  Void"  begins  with  some  heavy  bass  guitar  riffing  before  the  drums,  rhythm  guitars  and  high  pitched  screams  kick  in  along  with  some  melodic  parts  and  then  going  into  a  heavier  direction  and  combining  screams  and  growls  and  then t he  song  switches  back  and  forth  between  slow  and  fast  parts   as  well  as  mixing  in  guitar  leads  in  certain  parts.

  "Recovery  Of  Sync"  begins  with  heavy  and  brutal  guitar  riffs  and  drums  along  with  some  bass  guitars  and  then  the  music  goes  into  a  faster  direction  and  brings  in  some  growls  and  then  the  song  starts  switching  back  and  forth  between  slow  and  fast  parts  along  with  a  brief  use  of  guitar  solos  and  leads  and  the  song  closes  with  high  pitched  screams.

  'Frank  Decomposition"  begins  with  guitar  leads,  heavy  bass  guitars  and  drums before  adding  in  some  growls  and  rhythm  guitars  which  takes  the  song  into  a  slower  direction  before  switching  back  and  forth  between  slow  and  fast  parts  and  adding  in  some  guitar  leads  and  high  pitched  screams  along  with  some  melodic  riffing.

  "Tomb  In  The  Arctic"  begins  with  some  sound  effects  before  going  into  heavy  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along  with  some  drums,  technical  parts  and  high  pitched  screams  and  a few  seconds later  in  the  song  there  is  a  brief  use  of  guitar  solos  and  leads  that  start  kicking  in  and  out  of  the  song.

  'Slut  Hanging  On  Hook"  begins  with  some  movie  samples  which  lead  to  some  heavy  guitar  riffs,  blast  beats  and  high  pitched  screams  along  with  some  deep  growls  and  powerful  bass  guitars and  towards  the  end  there  is  a  brief  guitar  lead.

  "To  Parcel  Up  Meat"  begins  with  heavy  bass  guitar  riffs  and  drums  which  leads  to some  brutal  guitar  riffs  and  deep  growls  and  a  few  seconds  later  there  are  some  guitar  leads  kicking  in.

  'Worse  Than  Any  Murderer"  begins  with  some  war  samples  with  some  heavy  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along  with  some  blast  beats  and  growls  make  their  presence  known  and  then  the  song  starts  switching  back  and  forth  between  slow  and  fast  parts  and  as  the  song  moves  on  there  is  a  brief  use  of  high  pitched  screams  and  guitar  leads.

 "Revenge"  begins  with  heavy  guitar  riffs  before  the  bass,  drums  and  growls  start  kicking  in  along  with  some  high  pitched  screams  a  few  seconds  later  and  then t he  song  starts  switching  back  and  forth  between  slow  and  fast  parts  and  you  can  hear  some  blast  beats  in  certain  parts.

  "Strain  Of  Mind"  begins  with  some  drums  which  lead  to  some  heavy  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along  with  the  growls  kicking  in  shortly  after  that  and  then  the  song  starts  switching  back  and  forth  between  slow  and  fast  parts  as  well  as   utilizing  some  high  pitched  screams  and  guitar  leads.

  "The  Prophecy"  begins  with  bass  leads  and  drums  along  with  some  deep  growls  kicking  in  shortly  after  that  and  a  few  seconds  guitar  riffs  and  leads  become  a  part  of  the  song  which  leads  to  a  faster  direction  along  with  some  blast  beats  and  high  pitched  screams

  In  my  opinion  Navalm  are  a  very  great  sounding  heavy  and  brutal  death  metal  band  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out t his  recording.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Cemetery  Administration"  "An  Evil  Time"  "Slut  Hanging  On  Hook"  and  "Strain  Of  Mind".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.

  HellCraft  are  a  band  from  Ukraine  that  plays  a  very  old  school  form  of  death  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2013  album  "Tyranny  Of  Middle  Ages"  which  was  released  by  Rebirth  The  Metal  Productions.

  "Intro"  begins  with  some  dark  synths  and  serves  as  an  introduction  to  the  album.

  "Ediau  Ecaiy"  begins  with  brutal  guitar  riffs,  death  metal  growls  and  blast  beats  from t he  drums  which  takes  the  music  into  an  old  school  direction  with  the  song  switching  back  and  forth  between  slow  and  fast  parts  as  well  as  adding   in  a  small  amount  of  screams  and  guitar  solos.

  "AEooaa  Acoiey"  begins  with  some  dark  and  heavy  guitar  riffs  along  with  some  drums  before  going  into  a  faster  direction  and  bringing  in  growls  and  blast  beats  along  with  some  guitar  solos  solos  being  used  briefly  that  come  in  and  out  before  going  into  a  more  heavier  direction  and  adding  in  some  powerful  bass  lines  as  well  as  mixing  in  slow  and  mid  paced  parts.

  "Aieia"  begins  with  some  evil  sound  effects  which  lead  to  some  heavy,  dark  old  school  death  metal  guitar  riffs  and  drums  which  lead  to  some  growls,  faster  riffing  and  blast  beats  which  also  lead  to  the  song  switching  back  and  forth  between  slow  and  fast  parts  as  well  as  utilizing  some  guitar  leads  in  certain  parts  of  the  song.

   "Acoua  Aiaaa"  begins  with  some  heavy  guitar  riffs,  growls  and  drum  beats  and  as  the  song  moves  on  it  goes  into  a  mid  paced  direction  before  going  fast  with  some  blast  beats  and  melody  being thrown  in  the  riffs  at  times  along  with  a  brief  use  of  high  pitched  screams  as  well a s  a  brief  use  of  guitar  solos  and  leads.

  "Iaadaeeeiue  Oaeenoaii"  begins  with  heavy  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along  with  some  powerful  drums  that  take  the  song  in  a  faster  direction  along  with  some  blast  beats  which  sets  up   the  mood  for  some  growls  and  after  awhile  guitar  solos  and  leads  become  a  part  of  the  song  in  certain  sections  as  well  as  switching  back  and  forth  between  slow  and  fast  parts.

   "Tyranny  Of  Middle  Ages"  begins  with  some  movie  samples  before  going  into  heavy  guitar  riffs  and  drums  which  lead  to  some  deep  growls  and  after  awhile  the  music  goes  into  a  faster  direction  along  with  some  blast  beats  which  lead  to  some  guitar  leads  being  utilized  briefly  that  come  in  and  out  of  the  song  as  well  as  the  song  switching  back  and  forth  between  slow  and  fast  parts  and  towards  the  end  you  can  hear  some  powerful  bass  guitars.

  "Iiaeiuaiea"  begins  with  heavy  guitar  riffs  and  drums  and  then  takes  off  in  a  faster  direction  along  with  some  growls  then  the  song  starts  switching  back  and  forth  between  slow  and  fast  parts  as  well  as  adding  in  a  brief  use  of  high  pitched  screams  and  after  awhile  there  are  some  melodic  guitar  solos  and  leads  kicking  in  and  out  of  the  song.

  'Eoao  Oeaeeecaoee"  begins  with  heavy  guitar  riffs  and  drums  which  then  lead  to  some  faster  rififng  and  blast  beats  as  well  as  setting  up  the  mood  for  some  deep  growls  and  a  few  seconds  later  guitar  solos  and  leads  become  a  part  of  the  song  as  well  as  some  melodic  guitar  riffing and  the  song  switches  back  and  forth  between  slow  and  fast  parts.

  "Eoiaaue  Haneaaiee"  begins  with  heavy  guitar  riffs  and  drums  and  after  awhile  deep  growls  and  melodic  guitar  riffing  becomes  a  part  of  the  song  and  after  awhile  guitar  solos  and  leads  are  brought  into  the  mix  as  well  as  some  spoken  word  parts.

  Song  lyrics  cover  Cruelty,  Violence,  and  Dark  Feelings,  while  the  production  has  a  very  strong,  powerful,  heavy,  old  school  and  professional  sound  to  it.

  In  my  opinion  HellCraft  are  a  very  great  sounding  heavy  and  old  school  band  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  album.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Ediau  Ecaiy"  "Acoua  Aiaaa"  "Tyranny  Of  Middle  Ages"  and  "Eoao  Oeaeeecaoee".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.        

Master/The Witchhunt/FDA Rekotz/2013 CD Review

  This  is  a  review  of  another  album  from  Master  which  continues  their  death/thrash  sound  which  they  are  known  for,  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2013  album  "The  Witchhunt"  which  was  released  by  FDA  Rekotz.

 "The  Witchhunt"  begins  with  some  powerful  drums,  rhythms  guitars  and  bass  which  leads  to  the  growls  kicking  in  before  going  into  a  slower  direction  for  awhile  as  well  as  switching  back  and  forth  between  slow  and  fast  parts  and  after  awhile  guitar  solos  start  kicking  in  a  few  parts  of  the  song.
 
  "Plans  Of  Hate"  begins  with  some  heavy  drums,  bass  and  regular  guitars  which  lead  to  the  song  going  into  an  old  school  direction  along  with  some  growls  and  mid  paced  sections  and  after  awhile  guitar  leads  start  making  their  way  and  out  of  the  song.

  "Another  Suicide"  begins  with  a  heavy  guitar  riff  which to  some  drums  and  powerful  bass  playing  and  after  a  few  seconds  the  vocals  kick  in  which  leads  to  the  song  going  into  a  slower  direction  for  a  bit  before  returning  to  the  faster  parts  as  well  as  switching  back  and  forth  between  fast  and  slow  parts  as  well  as  mixing  in  guitar  leads.

  "Waiting  To  Die"  begins  with  a  very  heavy  sounding  death  metal  guitar  riff  which  leads  to  some  powerful  drumming  and  as  the  song  moves  in  it  mixes  in  some  old  school  thrash  elements  and  growls  and  after  a  few  minutes  the  song  goes  into  a  faster  direction  along  with  some  blast  beats  and  adding  in  a  brief  guitar  solo  before  ending  the  song.

  "The  Parable"  begins  with  some  heavy  death/thrash  guitar  riffs  which  leads  to  some  drums  and  growls  as  well  as  adding  a  s mall  amount  of  melody  in  the  riffing  while  focusing  more  on  being  heavy  and  after  a  minute  guitar  solos  make  their  presence  known  briefly  before  returning  to  the  rhythm  parts.

  "God  Of  Thunder"  begins  with  some  old  school  style  thrash  guitar  riffing  which  leads  to  some  powerful  drums  kicking  in  as  well  as  some  vocals  and  after  a  minute  the  song  goes  into  a  slower  direction  and  adds  in  some  powerful  bass  playing  before  returning  to  a  mid  paced  direction  and  bring  in  a  small  amount  of  guitar  solos.

  "Remove  The  Clowns"  begins  with  some  primitive  guitar  riffs  which  leads  to  some  bass  and  drums  kicking  in  setting  for  the  mood  for  some  vocals  as  well  as  adding  in  a  variety  of  different  riffs  while  remaining  heavy  all  at  the  same  time  along  with  some  old  school  death  metal  guitar  leads  in  certain  parts  but   focusing  more  on  rhythms  and  as  the  song  moves  on  you  can  hear  some  melodies  being  utilized  for  some  riffs.

 "Raise  Your  Swords"  begins  with  some  heavy  guitar  riffs  and  drums  which  leads  to  the  song  goin  more  into  a  fast  thrash  direction  along  with  some  powerful  bass  and  vocals,  as  the  song  moves  on  it  starts  mixing  in  many  different  heavy  riffing  styles  along  with  some  melody  as  well  as  some  brief  guitar  solos.

  "Wipe  Out  The  Aggressor"  begins  with  some  heavy  guitar  riffing  and  drums  and  after  a  few  seconds  vocals  start  kicking  in,  as  the  song  moves  on  it  starts  adding  in  some  melodic  parts  and  short  guitar  solos  which  also  enhance  the  heavier  aspects  of  the  music  along  with  the  bass  getting  a  little bit  heavier.

  "Manipulate  To  Exterminate"  begins  with  some  heavy  guitar  riffs,  drums  and  spoken  word  parts  before  adding  a  little  bit  more  fast  parts,  bass  guitars  and  vocals  and  after  awhile  the  riffs  start  utilizing  a  small  amount  of  melody  as  well  as  a  variety  of  many  old  school  style  riffs  along  with  some  guitar  solos  and  leads  before  going  into  a  bass  lead  which  closes  the  song.

  "The  American  Dream"  begins  with  a  bass  riff  before  going  into  the  guitars  and  drums  along  with  some  growls  which  lead  to  a  brief  use  of  blast  beats  as  well  as  mixing  melody  into  the  riffing  while  remaining  heavy  all  at  the  same  time,  as  the  song  moves  on  it  starts  adding  into  slow  death  metal  sections  while  keeping  the  faster  elements  around  as  well  as  bringing  solos  into  the  mix.

  Song  lyrics  cover  the  corrupted  side  of  politics,  while  the  production  has  a  very  strong,  powerful,  heavy  and  professional  sound  where  you  can  hear  all  of  the  musical  instruments  that  are  present  on  the  album.

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Master,  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  band,  you  should  check  out  this  album.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "The  Witchhunt"  "Waiting  To  Die"  "Raise  Your  Swords'  and  "The  American  Dream'.  RECOMMENDED  BUY.
