Kamikabe are a band from Pennsylvania that plays a very heavy and brutal form of technical death metal and this is a review of their 2012 album "Aberration Of Man" which was released by Unique Leader Records.
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a great amount of brutal sounding blast beats being thrown into the music, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars and at times they have a very powerful sound to them.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast technical death metal riffs that are very heavy and brutal sounding with a more modern sound, while the lead guitars when they are utilized are very technical sounding guitar solos and leads that combine old school death metal with the more modern day sound, as for the classical guitars when they are utilized they use finger picking to bring some darkness to the instrumental.
Vocals are mostly deep death metal growls that have somewhat of a hardcore feeling to them as well as some high pitched screams, while the lyrics cover the inevitable demise of mankind, as for the production it has a very strong, powerful, heavy and professional sound to it.
In my opinion Kamikabe are a very great sounding heavy and brutal technical death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE Leprous Divinity" "The Process Within" "Nefarious" and "Ungoliant". RECOMMENDED BUY.
