Can Of Worms are a band from Finland that plays a mixture of death and thrash metal and this is a review of their 2015 album "Kult Of Nuke" which was released by Great Dane Records.
Death metal growls, keyboards and technical guitar leads start off the album along with a small amount of back up gang shouts and after the intro the music goes into more of a faster musical direction and also utilizes a great amount of blast beats as well as doing a mixture of both death and thrash metal vocals.
High pitched screams can be heard quite a bit throughout the recording and the band also brings in a great mixture of both old school and modern extreme metal influences and the music also mixes in elements of hardcore at times and the riffs also bring in a decent amount of melody at times and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this recording and the song s also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts.
Can Of Worms plays a musical style that mixes the old school genres of death and thrash metal together while also adding in some of the more modern style to create a very heavy recording, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark and violent themes.
In my opinion Can Of Worms are a very great sounding mixture of death and thrash metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Hybrid Heaven" "Doomsday Preacher" "Blasphemic God" and "Future Breed Necromancer". 8 out of 10.
