Cadaver Disposal are a band from Germany that plays an old school form of death metal and this is a review of their 2017 album "Transformatio Mundi" which will be released on April 28th.
A very symphonic sounding intro starts off the album along with some nature sounds and clean playing a few seconds later and after awhile melodic guitar leads start to make their presence known along with the music also going into more of a heavier direction and the vocals are mostly death metal growls.
All of the musical instruments on the recording have a very powerful sound to them along with the music being heavily rooted in the early 90's and w hen the music speeds up a decent amount of blast beats can be heard and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and the riffs also bring in a decent amount of melody and spoken word parts can also be heard briefly while some tracks also add in a touch of modern day brutality and one of the tracks is very long and epic in length.
Cadaver Disposal plays a style of death metal that takes the old school style and gives it a more modern touch, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics are a concept album that covers man and his relation to the gods and science.
In my opinion Cadaver Disposal are a very great sounding traditional death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Congregation" "A Fateful Gathering" "Failure Of Man" and "Return From Exile". 8 out of 10.
