Nekrohowl are a band from Bangladesh that plays a very dark, blasphemous and old school form of death metal and this is a review of their 2017 ep "Epitome Of Morbid" which will be released on September 30th as a joint effort between Diabolcurst Productions and Slaughter House Records.
Clean playing along with a small amount of ambient sounds start off the ep and on te second track the music goes into a very fast and brutal direction t hat also uses a great amount of blast beats while the vocals are mostly death metal growls as well as all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them.
Most of the music is very heavy rooted in the 90's while morbid sounding melodies can also be heard at times along with the songs also bringing in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and when solos and leads are utilized they give the songs more of a chaotic atmosphere as well as having its dark and melodic moments.
Nekrohowl plays a style of death metal that is very dark, blasphemous, brutal and old school sounding in the 90's tradition, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover darkness and blasphemy themes.
In my opinion Nekrohowl are a very great sounding dark, blasphemous, brutal and old school death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Blasphemy Still Unnamed" and 'Mortal Incubation". 8 out of 10.
