Profanity are a band from Germany that plays a brutal form of death metal and this is a review of their 2014 ep "Hatred Hell Within" which was released by Rising Nemesis Records.
A very brutal style of death metal starts off the ep along with a great amount of growls, blast beats and technical playing and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and the solos and leads also display a great amount of talent and skill and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful to them.
While the music has the brutality of modern death metal and you can hear a lot of mid 90's influences and there is a brief use of atmospheric sounds being utilized for a few seconds ona couple of tracks and most of the tracks are very long and epic in length and the music also brings in a good mixture of American and European death metal influences and all of the musical instrument s have a very powerful sound to them.
Profanity plays a style of death metal that is very technical and brutal and also stays way from the elements that have been destroying the genre lately and plays brutal technical death metal the way it should be played, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark and violent themes.
In my opinion Profanity are a very great sounding brutal and technical death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Hatred hell Within'. 8 out of 10.
