Vulture Wings are a band from Brazil that plays a very old school form of death metal and this is a review of their self released 2016 ep "Funeral Grounds".
Sounds of flies start off the ep before going into more of a dark, heavy and melodic musical direction w here you can also h ear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording and on the second track the music goes into more of an old school death metal growls and blast beats as well as a small amount of screams.
Throughout the recording you can hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and the solos and leads are very dark and melodic and the songs stick mostly to a 90's style of death metal and the whole ep also remains very heavy from beginning to ending of the recording along with one of the tracks being long and epic in length.
Vulture Wings plays a style of death metal that is very dark and heavy in t he early 90's tradition, the production sounds very old school while the lyrics cover death, despair, dystopia an occult themes.
In my opinion Vulture Wings are a very great sounding old school death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Tower Of Silence" and "Necrophagous Majesty". 8 out of 10.
They are awesome!!!
