This is a review of a split live album between U.S.a/Czech Republic's Master and Belgium's Dehuman called "Decay Into Inferior Conditions" which was released by Xenocorp and we will start off the review with Master who returns with their legendary mixture of death and thrash metal.
Their side of the split starts out with audience sounds before going into a very heavy and old school direction which is also influenced by thrash while the vocals are mostly 80's style death metal growls along with the riffs also using melodies at times as well as some bass leads also being used at times.
When guitar solos and leads are utilized they remain very true to an old school style while the faster sections of the songs also bring in a small amount of blast beats and the songs sticking to either a fast or mid tempo direction along with the music always remaining very heavy and old school.
On this live recording Master remains true tot he old school death/thrash metal style that they are known for, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover politics, death and society themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Master and if you are a fan of this band, you should enjoy their side of the split. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Master" and "Slaves To Society".
Next up is Dehuman which continues the old school death metal style they are known for.
Their side of the split starts out with a very heavy and old school sound while the vocals a re mostly death metal growls along with the music also being very heavily rooted in the 90's as well as the faster sections of the songs also bringing in a great amount of brutal sounding blast beats.
A small amount of dark sounding melodies can be heard in the guitar riffing while the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with the solos and leads remaining true to an old school death metal style but also having t heir melodic moments and the music always remains very heavy.
Defuman remains true to the brutal and old school style of death metal that they are known for, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark and apocalyptic themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Dehuman and if you are a fan of this band, you should enjoy their side of the split. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Morbid Sun".
In conclusion I feel this is a very great sounding live split and I would recommend it to all fans of old school death metal. 8 out of 10.
