Red Dead are a band from Germany that plays an old school form of death metal and this is a review of their 2017 album "Therapy Of The Evil" which was released by Great Dane Records.
Chainsaw sounds start off the album along with some acoustic guitars a few seconds later along with all of the musical instruments on the recording having a very powerful sound to them and after awhile the music starts going into more of a heavier direction and when t he music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard.
Vocals are mostly deep death metal growls along with a few high pitched screams while the music is very heavily rooted in the 90's as well as the songs also bringing in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and the riffs also bring in a great amount of morbid sounding melodies and horror movie samples are added onto the outro.
Red Dead plays a style of death metal that is very old school and traditional sounding and heavily rooted in the 90's, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover darkness, evil and violent themes.
In my opinion Red Dead are a very great sounding old school death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "All Hallows Evening" "Vengeance" "Demons Visions" and "Bestial Human". 8 out of 10.
