Blood Of Seklusion are a band from Italy that plays an old school form of death metal and this is a review of their 2017 album "Servants Of Chaos" which will be released in August by FDA Records.
War sound effects start off the album and a few seconds later the music goes into a heavier direction along with some aggressive spoken word parts and the riffs also utilize melodies at times and after awhile death metal growls start to make their presence known along with the music being rooted in the early 90's.
When guitar solos and leads are utilized they are done in a very melodic fashion and when the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and the music always remains very heavy.
Blood Of Seklusion plays a style of death metal that is very heavily rooted in the 90's, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover war, mythological creatures, and social issues themes.
In my opinion Blood Of Seklusion are a very great sounding old school style death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Theatre Of Madness" "Servants Of Chaos" "The Sun Shines No More" and "Amen". 8 out of 10.
