Bloodphemy are a band from the Netherlands that has been featured before in this zine and plays a brutal form of death metal and this is a review of their 2017 album "Bloodline" which was released by Sleaszy Rider Records.
Radio static sounds start off the album along with some melodic guitar leads and heavy riffs a few seconds later along with some death metal growls a few seconds later and the riffs also bring in a decent amount of melody while spoken word parts can also be heard briefly and high pitched screams are also used at times.
Throughout the recording you can hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and when the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and one track also adds in a small amount of synths before reverting back to a brutal direction.
Bloodphemy creates another recording that remains true to the brutal death metal style that was established on previous releases, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark, occult and violent themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding album from Bloodphemy and if you are a fan of brutal death metal, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Void" "Infanity" "Obsessed" and "Contravene". 8 out of 10.
