Sweden's Paganizer have returned with a new recording that continues the old school Swedish death metal style of previous releases and this is a review of the 2017 album "Land Of Weeping Souls" which will be released in August by Transcending Obscurity Records.
A very fast and brutal sound along with a great amount of brutal blast beats start off the album along with a great amount of melodic riffing and after awhile death metal growls make their presence known along with the music being very heavily rooted in the early 90's Swedish style.
Throughout the recording you can hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording and the solos and leads are done in a very melodic style along with screams also being added into certain sections of the recording and the album also remains very heavy from beginning to closing.
Paganizer creates another recording that remains true to the Swedish death metal style of previous releases, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover anti Christianity, death, murder and gore themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Paganizer and if you are a fan of Swedish death metal, you should enjoy this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Dehumanized" "The Insanity Never Stops" "The Buried Undead" and "Pray To Death". 8 out of 10.
