Aberrato are a band from Brazil that plays a traditional form of death metal and this is a review of their self titled 2016 album which was released by Heavy Metal Rock.
Dark soundscapes start off the album along with some voices in the background before going into a very fast and heavy direction along with a great amount of blast beats and the vocals are mostly deep death metal growls while you can also hear a small amount of melody in the guitar riffing at times.
High pitched screams can be heard in some parts of the music while the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and when guitar solos and leads are utilized they are done in a very melodic yet extreme fashion and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this recording.
A lot of the fast riffs use a decent amount of tremolo picking along with the tracks also mixing in a great amount of 90's influences while also being very modern at the same time and one track also brings in a brief use of clean playing before returning back to a heavier direction and there is also a brief use of spoken word samples.
Aberratio plays a style of death metal that is very traditional and old school while also mixing in a more modern take on the genre, the production sound s very professional while the lyrics cover political, anti religion and Satanism themes.
In my opinion Aberratio are a very great sounding traditional death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Chernobyl" "Politics For Politicians" "Assyrians" and "Satan Doom". 8 out of 10.
