Time Walk are a band form Missouri that plays a mixture of death metal and hardcore and this is a review of their 2017 ep "Beyond Eternity's Grasp" which was released by Static Tension Recordings.
A very hard, heavy and melodic sound starts off the ep along with some death metal growls a few seconds alter and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording and the music brings in a great amount of 90's influences along with some elements of old school hardcore.
When guitar solos and leads are utilized they are done in a very melodic fashion and when the music speeds up a decent amount of blast beats can be heard while the main focus is either a slow or mid paced musical direction and the music also always remains heavy and they close to ep with a cover of Runemagick's "Enter The Realm Of Death" which also brings in a small amount of synths
Time Walk plays a musical style that takes the death metal; style of the 90's a nd mixes it with hardcore to create a sound of their own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover war, death, conquest, and death themes.
In my opinion Time Walk are a very great sounding mixture of death metal and hardcore and if you are a fan of this musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Fury Of the Sands" and "Temple Of the Forbidden". 8 out of 10.
