Plague Throat are a band from India that plays a style of death metal that mixes the old school, brutal and technical forms of the genre together and this is a review of their 2017 album "The Human Paradox" which will be released in May by Transcending Obscurity India.
Heavy guitar riffing starts off the album along with a decent amount of melody and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording and when the music speeds up a decent amount of blast beats can be heard while the vocals are mostly death metal growls and when guitar leads are done in a technical fashion.
Throughout the recording there is a great portion of slow, mid paced and fast parts while also mixing in a great amount of brutality and as the album progresses a brief use of atmospheric soundscapes can be heard before returning back to a heavier direction and high p[itched screams can also be heard briefly along with the songs also mixing in a great mixture of both old school and modern influences while the last track mixes in tribal beats and ritualistic chants.
Plague Throat plays a style of death metal t hat mixes both the old school and brutal forms of t he genre together along with technical guitar leads to create a sound of their own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark and scientific themes.
In my opinion Plague Throat are a very great sounding death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Inherited Failure' "The Human Paradox" "Truth In Silence" and "Ma Nga". 8 out of 10.
