All Out War are a band from New York that has been featured before in this zine and plays a very aggressive and brutal style of hardcore with some elements of death and thrash metal and this is a review of their 2017 album "Give Us Extinction" which will be released in August by Organized Crime.
A very dark, heavy and melodic sound starts off the album and after awhile angry hardcore style vocals are added onto the recording and they almost have a touch of death metal to them at times and when the music speeds up a decent amount of blast beats can be heard along with the solos and leads bringing in an extreme metal style.
Back up gang shouts can also be heard at times along with a great amount of thrash and crossover influences while the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts as well as some of the riffing also adding in a small amount of melody and spoken word samples are also used briefly and as the album progresses acoustic guitars are used briefly before returning back to a heavier direction and they also bring in a cover of Nausea's "Cybergod"..
All Out War remains true to the brutal style of hardcore from previous releases while still having touches of crossover, thrash and death metal, the production sound s very professional while the lyrics cover end of the world, struggles and spiritual disposition themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding album from All Out War and if you are a fan of this band, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Give Us Extinction" "From The Mouth Of Serpents" "Ingesting Vile" and "Repulsive Premonitions". 8 out of 10.
