Nemecic are a band from Finland that plays a modern mixture of death, groove and thrash metal and this is a review of their 2017 album "The Deathcantation" which will be released in September by Inverse Records.
Hospital sounds start off the album before going into more of a heavier thrash direction when the music speeds up death metal growls and blast beats are added onto the recording along with some high pitched screams and the riffs also bring in a great amount of melody and groove metal elements.
Throughout the recording you can hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording along with some solos and leads that also gives the songs a mid 80's extreme metal feeling and the riffs also add in more of modern metal style as well.
As the album progresses the vocals also adding in touches of groove metal along with clean singing also being utilized at times while all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them along with some of the later tracks also adding in a small amount of acoustic guitars and spoken word parts and the last track is very long and epic in length.
Nemecic plays a musical style that takes death, groove and modern thrash metal and mixes them together to create a sound of their own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark, metaphysical and philosophical themes.
In my opinion Nemecic are a very great sounding mixture of death, groove and thrash metal band if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Locomotive Tomb" "Mercury Vortex Ritual" "Apotheosis" and "Ouroboros". 8 out of 10.
