Casket Robbery are a band from Wisconsin that plays a very brutal, catchy and groovy form of death metal and this is a review of their 2016 album "Evolution Of Evil" which will be released in March by Mortal Music.
A very heavy, brutal and old school death metal sound starts off the album along with some growling vocals and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and high pitched screams can be heard in certain sections of the recording and the solos and leads bring in a very melodic and modern style.
Elements of groove can be heard quite a bit throughout the recording and when the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard while the main focus is more on a mid tempo style and spoken word parts can also be heard in certain sections of the recording and they also bring in a brief use of horror movie samples.
Casket Robbery takes a very brutal ad old school style of death metal and mixes in some modern groove elements to ad something very different to t he genre while also being very heavy at the same time, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover serial killers gore and humor themes.
In my opinion Casket Robbery are a very great sounding groove orientated brutal death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Blood Bathory" "Undead Living Hell" "Curse Of the Night Stalker" and "The Asylum". 8 out of 10.
