Extermination Temple are a solo project from Sweden that plays an old school style of death metal along with some atmospheric, experimental and hardcore elements and this is a review of his 2016 ep "Lifeless Forms" which will be released in March by Apocalyptic Visions.
A very dark, heavy and raw old school death metal sound starts off the ep along with some growling vocals a few seconds later and the music is very heavily rooted in the 90's and the solos and leads have almost a hardcore punk feeling to them while also adding in a small amount of melody.
When the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard as well as the riffs utilizing a great amount of morbid sounding melodies and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and some oft he songs also add in a small amount of sound effects that also gives the music more of an experimental and avant garde vibe.
Extermination Table plays a style of death metal that is rooted more in the raw 90's style of the genre while also adding in hardcore, experimental and atmospheric elements to create a sound of his own, the production sounds very raw and old school while the lyrics cover death, mental illness, and morbidity themes.
In my opinion Extermination Table are a very great sounding raw and atmospheric death metal solo project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Dissolve Into Dust" and "Vampire Of Suicide Death". 8 out of 10.
