This is a review of another recording from Vader that shows more of a raw style of death metal while still having a touch of thrash with the demo originally being released in 1989 and called "Necrolust" which was also re-issued in 2015 by Witching Hour Productions.
Thunder sounds and church bells start off the demo and a few seconds later the music gets heavy and displays more of a thrash influenced death metal style before speeding up and adding in a great amount of blast beats and screaming vocals and the songs also seem to be heavily influenced by the South American style.
Throughout the recording you can hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while the solos are very primitive sounding death metal guitar leads and all 4 of the tracks stick to a very heavy and raw sound from beginning to ending of the recording while some of the riffs also bring in a small amount of melody.
On this recording Vader brought in even more of a death metal style that was very common for the 80's while they still had the raw aggression of thrash, the production sounds very raw and old school while the lyrics cover demons, darkness and blasphemy themes.
In my opinion this was another great sounding recording from Vader and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this re-issue. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Decapitated Saints" and "The Final Massacre". 8 out of 10.
