Crawl are a band from Sweden that plays an old school form of death metal and this is a review of their 2015 ep "Worship Death" which will be released by Bloodsoaked Records.
A very heavy Swedish style death metal sound starts off the ep along with a great amount of blast beats and a few seconds later growling vocals that are very easy to understand are added onto the recording and the music is also very heavily rooted in the early 90's era of the genre bringing back the rawness of that time.
All of the songs sound like they could of been released around 93 or 94 and high pitched screams can be heard in some parts of the songs and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are presented on the recording and the tracks also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while also bringing in a small amount of melody.
Crawl plays a style of death metal that is very heavy and old school in the Swedish tradition and avoids any modern trends, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover death themes.
In my opinion Crawl are a very great sounding old school band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out the ep. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Drenched". 8 out of 10.
