Vistery are a band from Belarus that plays a very old school form of death metal and this is a review of their 2012 album "Sinister Prophecy" which was released by Satanath Records.
Military style drum beats and synths start off the album bringing a war like atmosphere to the recording along with some heavy guitar riffs and death metal growls a few seconds alter and the riffs also bring in a great amount of dark sounding melodies and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them.
When the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and the music is also very heavily rooted in an early 90's style of death metal and some songs also bring in a small amount of bass guitar leads and the music is very heavily influenced by the Florida bands.
Vistery plays a style of death metal that has its roots in the 90's and focuses more on mid tempo parts to create a very heavy sounding recording, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover suffering, revenge, religion, gore and social themes.
In my opinion Vistery are a very great sounding death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Waiting For Annihilation" "Dead Inside" "Cannibal Feast" and "Killing Spree". 8 out of 10.
