This is a review of another recording from Divided which continues the technical sound of previous releases with the ep being released in 2013 by Satanath Records and called "Es Diaboli".
Epic sounding synths start off the ep along with a variety of many different sounding keys and after the intro the music gets more heavy along with some guttural growls and screams while also keeping the atmospheric elements of the intro and adding in technical guitar leads and the faster sections of the music use a great amount of blast beats.
Melodies can be heard quite a bit throughout the riffing and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and they also show a great amount and progress and skill as musicians since the previous album that was reviewed and some songs also bring in opera style choirs and they also bring in a couple of symphonic instrumentals.
On this recording Divided get more technical and symphonic while also remaining true to death metal, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover Occultism themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Divided and if you are a fan of symphonic and technical death metal, you should check out the ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Dulcis Memoria" "Panis Angelicus" and "Ave Verum Corpus". 8 out of 10.
